Our Purpose

We at Talenya believe that our work matters. It has a true purpose beyond business. We hate to see talent go to waste and our mission is to fix that!

People are missing life-changing opportunities simply because a keyword is missing from their profile. Women and minorities are not getting their fair representation in the candidate pool just because of the way they wrote their resumes. We wanted to change this and started Talenya with the goal of putting all the benefits of true AI in the hands of recruiters.

We wanted to create a tool that will eliminate missed opportunities and make talent shine regardless of their resume writing skills, gender or ethnicity.

Founders Story

Gal and Doron are sort of family. Doron’s niece is married to Gal’s brother, and they met at the wedding. Doron has many years of experience leading large technology teams and AI projects, and Gal has been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, working primarily in the recruitment technology space. The connection between the two was instant.

The two high-tech veterans started spending many hours together. Gal shared many of the challenges that recruiters are facing today with Doron, and Doron shared his ideas about how AI and ML can solve many of those challenges.

One day, while sitting at a family BBQ, the two had an “a-ha” moment. They realized that they were on to something big – something very big! They knew that that something will completely change the way recruiting workds forever. That’s how, in 2016, Talenya was born.
